Legalise Cocaine The only way to take back our streets is to wrest back control of the drugs from the criminals, by legalising and regulating their
trade. Camilla Cavendish
But, of course, western governments love the crime that is
fomented by keeping certain drugs illegal.
Almost everything that is known to increase the crime rate is either directly
supported by western governments or it is surreptitiously ignored.
You think I exaggerate, eh?
Well, let us think for a moment about some of those factors that we know
contribute greatly to the high crime rate.
1. The breakdown of families - hugely supported and encouraged by government.
2. Single-motherhood and fatherlessness - hugely supported and encouraged by
government.
3. The general degradation of the educational system - hugely supported and
encouraged by government.
4. The specific undermining of the education of boys - hugely supported and
encouraged by government.
5. The generation of abuse hysteria to keep adults - particularly the men -
away from children - hugely supported and encouraged by government.
6. Police officers and teachers tied down with red tape and political
correctness - completely orchestrated by government.
7. Almost no legal punishments for youngsters who persistently engage in
delinquent behaviours in the streets - completely orchestrated by government.
8. Almost no school punishments for youngsters who persistently engage in
delinquent behaviours at school - completely orchestrated by government.
9. The disempowerment of parents with regard to their own children -
completely orchestrated by government.
10. 'Sex education' - for children as young as five - issuing of
contraceptives and provision of abortions to underage girls without informing
their parents -
completely orchestrated by government.
11. Excessive immigration - completely orchestrated by government.
12. The right to defend oneself and others from aggression - completely
undermined by government.
13. Woeful lack of prisoner education and rehabilitation programmes -
completely orchestrated by government. **
14. Corruption of justice system when it comes to all intimate relationships
(divorce, sex-assault, domestic violence etc etc) to disempower and aggravate men, and to
encourage women to make false allegations - completely orchestrated by
government.
15. Persistent public promotion and promulgation of grossly over-inflated
figures concerning 'abuse' by the Home Office and the police in order to stir up
hatred towards men and, hence, between men -
completely orchestrated by government.
16. The continuation of the forty-year long and demonstrably ineffective war on
drugs - strongly supported by government.
At the moment, there is not one single area that I can think of wherein the
government acts in a manner that is likely to reduce the crime rate or promote
societal harmony.
Not one!
Indeed, the complete opposite is true.
Western governments want to promote high crime rates and
societal disharmony- because they benefit hugely from such things
And the bogus 'war on drugs' is a fabulous way for the government to keep
crime levels really high - as per Camille Cavendish's article.
For the past few decades, the 'best' that we seem to have been offered by
western governments with regard to crime reduction is a willingness to increase
the prison population. **
Notice, however, that this one single factor has got precious little to do
with reducing crime in our communities, but a great deal to do with giving
government more power, and government officials more jobs.
"Government" is not interested in anything else.
Wake.
Up!
More recently, of course, we have seen western governments attempting to
introduce as quickly as they can more information-gathering devices and
techniques for dealing with crime (CCTV, ID cards etc). And so, once again, we
see that their primary concern is to 'deal with crime' by extending their own
power - in this case, their power of surveillance.
Their game can be summarised as follows. Stir up crime as much as possible
through various avenues - as per the 16 points above - and then use this high
crime rate to justify to the
public the need for them to be given more power and bigger empires in order to
deal with it.
** (I do not know what the figures are in the UK, but in the USA some 660,000
prisoners are released every year into their communities. It is
sheer madness for us not to give significant help to these people so that they
have the wherewithal to make better lives for themselves - and, hence, for
us.)
