Politicians Are Heading For A Fall
1. The vast majority of
political activists are men.
2. Men right across the political
spectrum are feeling increasingly angry over the way in which their
politicians are treating them in many areas of their lives, and millions
of men are becoming more alienated from their governments and their societies.
Articles, commentaries and postings denouncing the way in which politicians seek
mostly to feather their own nests at the expense of everyone else can now be found
on a vast range of websites, e.g. those whose main themes are to do with
religion, the drugs war, the death penalty, fathers rights, child custody, false
allegations, civil liberties, racial matters, libertarianism, left-wing
politics, right-wing politics, the war on terrorism, taxes, and even health!
The list is long!
There is a rising tide of anger among men
toward politicians for a large number of reasons and from a wide variety of
quarters!
And so it is that the political careers of
those politicians who continue to support policies that anger men will suffer
quite considerably in the near future.
And if they do not quickly wake up to this
then the consequences for them might even be worse.
There has been a positive
explosion in 'anti-politician' rhetoric since the start of the war on terrorism - e.g. over Iraq, Homeland Security, civil liberties matters etc.
There is a rising tide of male anger toward politicians over issues that concern
them as men. And every single male activist (whatever his 'issues') who
is seeking to attack politicians, is now being very much empowered by the new
technologies.
And so it is that there are huge forces
currently building up that are going disempower those politicians who anger men.
In general terms, these forces will seek to reduce
the influence that politicians and governments have on the lives of men.
And the areas covered will be very wide-ranging indeed.
And the means by which this will happen - is
happening - is the very same one that will help us to avoid any chaos and mayhem
that could result from this process.
The spread of information!
And when politicians eventually recognise
that men's activists will attack them on a wide range of issues if
they do not start supporting the men of their country, they will
begin to change their attitudes toward men quite considerably.
As just one tiny example of this, despite the
fact that I have openly supported the Bush administration's attitude toward
Iraq, this has not actually prevented me from placing links on this website to
some 500 anti-war articles over the past few months - thereby shunting into the
collective mental ether ideas, arguments and notions that can actually be used
to oppose the current actions of the administration.
And as other Men's Rights activists also begin
to recognise that politicians and governments are currently the major sources of
their problems - far more so than the feminists themselves - so it is that their
activism will be increasingly directed against them.
After all, it is politicians and governments,
not feminists, that are ultimately responsible for creating the many laws and policies that treat men as if they were worthless.
And so when it comes to war crimes tribunals,
the military action in Iraq, the problems in the Middle East, the war on
terrorism etc etc etc - indeed, whatever highly contentious issues happen to be
in the public consciousness - many Men's Rights activists will make use of them
and plunge into the debates in order to help expose to the public what
current-day western politicians are concerned mostly about.
Themselves.
Of course, the men's activists will plunge
into these debates on the sides of the arguments that they genuinely support.
But they will keep their eyes open for ways in which they can damage politically
those politicians who show no concern for men.
And in the case of western politicians,
currently, that's just about all of them.
There are very few western politicians who are
concerned about the welfare of men. And the vast majority of politicians are
more than happy to inflict injustices upon men if it serves their own selfish
interests.
Men's activists should therefore have no
qualms about attacking them on whatever issues they can.
And here is one important issue that all men's
activists should definitely be thinking about! ...
USA Imagine what
would happen if we repealed all forms of federal income tax — including the
personal income tax, the corporate income tax, Social Security, the estate tax,
and the gift tax. A world of benefits would quickly come in the wake of
repealing these taxes. Harry Browne
